In Kenya, access to quality maternal healthcare can be a matter of life and death. Medical Aid Alliance is committed to giving mothers the care they deserve. Our Mother and Child Policy guides our work to ensure safe and healthy outcomes for both mother and child.
Medical Aid Alliance’s Mother and Child Policy provides a framework for effective planning, implementation, and monitoring of maternal and child health programs. Our initiatives include:
- Promoting access to quality healthcare for mothers and children.
- Reducing mortality and morbidity rates associated with maternal and child health issues.
- Skilled delivery services at healthcare facilities.
- Ensuring emergency obstetric care for complications such as hemorrhage and sepsis.
- Providing family planning education and services to promote reproductive health.
We also focus on child health by ensuring timely growth monitoring, routine check-ups, and combating childhood illnesses. Our work aligns with the Constitution of Kenya, which guarantees the right to health, including reproductive health.
